IWC Ingenieur Chronograph Sports Edition “50th Anniversary of Mercedes-AMG” celebrates the performance sports car brand from Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, as it turns 50 this year. The watch unveiled in its partner’s honor is a 44mm titanium-cased mechanical chronograph, made in-house at IWC Schaffhausen. In addition to offering a stopwatch function with hours, minutes and seconds, the self-winding caliber is surrounded by a soft-iron inner case that protects it against magnetic fields. This anti-magnetic inner case is a hallmark of IWC, which first unveiled the concept to the world in the 1930s for its pilot’s watches. More IWC replica watches.
The round case holds a crisp white dial with tachymeter scale and red accents. The IWC 89361 caliber with flyback chronograph function offers engineered precision and 68 hours of power reserve. A portion of the inner iron case, which is designed to resemble a brake disc, can be viewed via a sapphire caseback.
The back of the cage is engraved with the words “A Tribute to One Man, One Engine” - a saying intended to bring together the concepts of mechanical genius not just from Mercedes-AMG, but also from IWC. Just like the watch’s movement is made in-house in IWC’s workshops, so, too, are the engines of the Mercedes-AMGs, which are assembled in the brand’s manufacturing department by a single mechanic.

Review IWC Big Pilot Annual Calendar "Le Petit Prince" Special edition
This IWC Big Pilot Annual Calendar "Le Petit Prince" Special edition watch in 18-carat white gold is a homage to author and pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Its timeless design brings together the poetry and much-loved narrative of The Little Prince, with technical features demonstrating IWC Schaffhausen’s exacting standards in precision watchmaking. More replica IWC Pilot.
IWC Big Pilot Annual Calendar "Le Petit Prince" Special edition features a midnight blue dial with rhodium-plated luminous hands, inspired by the glowing dials of cockpit instruments. Located at “12 o’clock” on the dial, IWC’s annual calendar shows the month, date and day in three separate windows. Its complex mechanism takes into account the differing lengths of different months, with the exception of February; once a year in March, it requires a simple manual correction using the crown. The striking conical crown of the Pilot’s Watch harks back to the pioneering days of aviation, when pilots had to face the elements in unheated cockpits. The large size of the crown allowed pilots to set and wind their watch even when wearing thick gloves and a padded flight suit.
The case back in sapphire glass reveals IWC’s sophisticated and innovative blue movement, which took IWC nearly two years to perfect. The Little Prince of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s is shown gazing into the sky from his tiny planet. The planet in its entirety forms the rotor and revolves around its axis.
