The skis use a white top and a black bottom, perfectly echoing the pure white ceramic case and jet black dial of the IWC Pilot's Watch TOP GUN Chronograph "Lake Tahoe" Special Edition. The watch uses a white ceramic case with a black dial, black luminous hands and a titanium case back. The contrasting design is inspired by the winter snowscape of Lake Tahoe, where pilots often fly over the snow-capped mountains. The manufacturing process of colored ceramics is quite complex: zirconia needs to be mixed with other metal oxides and then sintered at high temperatures in a kiln. This requires extensive experience and expertise to determine the correct mixing ratio of various raw materials and achieve consistent results at all stages of manufacturing.
